An interpretive sign approximately 400m along the Resolute Track from the Resolute Picnic Area takes you to a very scenic sandstone rock platform overlooking Pittwater. On the rock platform are six engraved figures including a male figure with outstretched arms and a large knob-headed club across his waist, the leg of another figure and two eels. On the same platform is a large fish in a shallow rock depression that sometimes holds water, a V-shaped figure and three other fish which are difficult to now see.
Engraving of man with large club, two eels above the man but not clear on the photo, Resolute Trail at West Head, KCNP.
A bit further down the trail (c.100m) is another site containing 5 engraved eels and a shark, which is protected by a large rock barrier.
A highlighted engraving of a man with club and two eels, other figures are nearby on this site which is on the Resolute Trail, West Head KCNP and which has a commanding view of Pittwater, from Sim (1965) p.283.
