Recorded by W.D. Campbell (1899), figures also by R. Etheridge and R.H. Mathews. Rock engraving motifs at this site include a large (c.6m) whale; a large number (30) of human-like figures connected head to toe and with arms and legs outstretched; two large deity-like figures; several fish; eels; macropods and footprint motifs.

There are some layout errors in Campbell’s published drawing.

A significant and unusual feature of this large horizontal sandstone rock platform is a naturally formed sandstone basin about 1m in diameter and 0.5m high which occasionally holds about 10-12cm of water.  The site once formed part of the old Peats Ferry Road and was the site of a former school for the children associated with men engaged in the building of the road between 1847 and 1852.
